On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, an angel was dispatched from Heaven to claim one of the Lord’s dearest children, Brother Jonathan Daniels, and on that day, he entered a final well deserved rest. Jonathan was a caring father, husband, brother grandfather, uncle and friend.
He was born to Dorothy Daniels on February 02, 1960, in Bronx, NY, and later called Albany his home. Jonathan loved to watch movies, and had an extensive movie collection, he loved to cook and enjoyed creating “unique “ meals . His favorite pastime was playing “ video games ” with his sons and friends and talking smack.
He retired from Albany Medical Center Hospital after 10 years of service as a data entry operator due to illness.
He was a faithful member of the Israel A.M.E Church where he served on the Usher Board, and sang with the Male Chorus, and provided transportation for Church School and Summer Camp until his health no longer permitted.
Jonathan was truly committed, dedicated to the process and a trusted servant of the God given program of Narcotics Anonymous for 33 years.
Jonathan will be deeply missed and his memory cherished by his wife Roslyn, four children: Jonathan; Carnell; Leticia and Terrell. Six grandchildren: E-najeiya; Ashari; Kamari; Qua’niyia; Car’ianna; Ariyah. sister: Crystal ( Daniel ) Bennett ; brother Timothy Daniels;

He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Daniels, grandmother Susie Burns.
Jonathan also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, beloved relatives, and friends.
