Jack was an avid woodworker and shared his talent with many gifts for family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, traveling and was a gifted handyman.

He was predeceased by his wives, Patricia Ann Peckowitz and Grace Irene Peckowitz. Jack is the loving companion of Pam Cross. He is the devoted father of Joan Cook, Mary (William) Lovely, John (Maureen) Peckowitz, Jr., Michael Peckowitz and Joseph Peckowitz (Erin Pollay). Jack is the brother of Carol (Bob) Heyer and Sheila (Larry) Root. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Kicinski and brother-in-law, Stash Kicinski. Jack is also survived by Grace’s children, Cathy (Scott) Secor, Debra Powers and Mark Powers. He was predeceased by his stepson, Vincent M. Powers. Jack is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Dylan, Nicholas, Sheylynn, Autumn, Courtney, Kelli, Sean, Ryan and Caitlyn, as well as one great-granddaughter, Kennedy. He will be missed by Skippy, his canine friend.

The family would like to thank the Clifton Park/Halfmoon Emergency Corps and Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room staff for their efforts, compassion, and care of Jack on Wednesday evening.
