Jesse A. Maccagnano

COLONIE – Jesse A. Maccagnano, 82, of Colonie, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at his residence.

He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Angelo Maccagnano and Jessie Cioffi. Jesse was raised by his grandmother Lucia Cioffi and her husband Alfonse Montaldo. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years, Ruth Maccagnano in March of this year. Jesse was a clerk for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. He and Ruth enjoyed playing golf and wintering in Florida.

Jesse is survived by Ruth’s children, Dean Dupuree, Frank Dupuree and Michelle Germano.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 12 noon at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:00 to 12 noon at the Funeral home. Face masks are required and social distancing must be observed. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. At the request of the family and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NENY Alzheimer’s Association, 4 Pine West Plaza Suite 405, Albany NY 12205.
