Jane F. Sullivan

Colonie - Jane Frances Sullivan, formerly Wunderlich, went home to be with Jesus on September 4, 2017.  Jane was born in Latham and was 87 years young at her passing. She bravely fought a battle with pancreatic cancer and died peacefully at Albany Medical Center Hospital surrounded by her family. The family would like to thank Dr. David Shaffer for all his kindness and compassion.

Jane was the daughter of Joseph R. Wunderlich and Anna May Koonman. She was employed as a receptionist for the South Colonie Central Schools. She retired at age 80 and went on to volunteer at Ellis Family Health Center.

Jane was predeceased by her husband William T. Sullivan and her siblings Mary Wunderlich, George Wunderlich and Anna May Wunderlich. She is survived by her four children John Sullivan (Julie Sullivan), Joseph Sullivan(Regina Sullivan),David Sullivan (Mary Grace Sullivan) and Marybeth Pallack (Mark Pallack). She is also survived by her grandchildren Sean Sullivan, Abby Sullivan, William Sullivan, Nicole Sullivan, Heather Sullivan, Lindsey Sullivan, Lauren Pallack, Benjamin Pallack and Noah Pallack.

Jane is also survived by her brothers Joseph Wunderlich, John Wunderlich and Eugene Wunderlich (Kathleen Wunderlich). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Jane enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida and Cape Cod. She loved the theatre, garage sales and dining out. Jane was an active member in her Church and had a fierce love for her God.

Visitation will be held Thursday at Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union Street, Schenectady from 4 to 7 pm. The Rite of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 9:00 am at St Paul the Apostle Church, Schenectady. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
