Albany – James T. “Cack” Coluccio, 79, of West Albany, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 20, 2018 at Albany Medical Center. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Salvatore and Margaret Coluccio.
Jim was a US Army veteran. He had worked for Tobin Packing Company and as an inspector for New York State Department of Transportation. Jim was a longtime member of the West Albany Italian Benevolent Society. He enjoyed golfing, basketball, camping, hunting and fishing, Las Vegas and spending time with his cherished family.
James is survived by his wife, Lois M. Guerro Coluccio; his children JoAnn (Bill) Swint, Pam (Paul) Snyder, Diane (Brian) Ford, Jamie Coluccio (Tracy VanAlstyne) and James L. Coluccio (Michele Zeccolo). He is Poppy to Jason Schewe, Michael P. (Jenna) Bradley, Riley, Breanne and Brandon Ford, Justine Coluccio, Ariana (Salem) Jacobsen, Cierra Swint, Nick Shellenberger, and the late Jasmine Swint. Jim is the brother of Salvatore Coluccio and the late Joseph and Francis Coluccio and Mary Hoffman. He is the brother in law of Jim Guerro (Chris McCrary). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9:30 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jim’s family on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
