GUILDERLAND – Jacqueline A. Martin Ciampi, 91. of Guilderland, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Albany on June 6, 1933 to John and Mabel Martin. Jackie was predeceased by her husband Albert R. Ciampi. She is survived by her children Stephanie (Dominic) Lostritto of Colonie and Ben (Jessica) Ciampi of Guilderland Center. Jackie is the cherished grandmother of Michael (Angela) Lostritto of Cranston, RI., and Erica (Spencer) Zabiela of Brooklyn, NY and great grandmother of Sienna and Jonathan Lostritto. She is the sister-in-law of Nina Hoyt of Colonie dear friend of Joseph Statile of Myrtle Beach, SC. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Jackie was predeceased by her sister Marion Zaborowski.
She was a very special woman, always kind and loving. Jackie was devoted to her adored family. She enjoyed bowling, cooking and camping. Jackie was an avid New York Yankees fan. She had worked for twenty-eight years with the Guilderland School District.
The family would like to offer their sincere thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff at St. Peters Hospital Step down unit, the Teresian House rehab unit and Peregrine, Crossgates. We are forever grateful.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jackie’s family on Thursday from 4 to 7pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Carman Rd. Guilderland. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
