Irene M. Taber

Schenectady – Irene M. Taber, 93, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Ellis Hospital. She was born in Amsterdam and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Michalski.

Irene was a registered nurse and had worked for many years at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Francis K. Taber Sr. Irene is the beloved mother of Frank Greg, Thomas (Mary), Larry (Terri), Mark (Shelly) and the late Jeff Taber. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 8:45 at Cannon Funeral Home 2020 Central Ave. Colonie, then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Rotterdam at 9:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Irene’s family on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
