Hiram J. Eberlein

Schenectady - Hiram Johnson Eberlein made the transition from this earthly experience on the evening of November 11, 2024, at the age of 83. His passing was peaceful, surrounded by loving family and compassionate caretakers.

Hiram was born on October 3, 1941, in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York to Roberta (Roberts) and Ernest Eberlein. He married Marlene Simons in 1964. He is survived by his wife and daughters, Kathleen Vroman and Karen Barbosa.

Loved and respected by all who knew him; friend to the least of His children; helper to all who crossed his path; constant striver to be good and to do right; great husband, father, and father-in-law; his spirit and his example will be sorely missed. Hiram wished to apologize to and ask forgiveness from any whom he might have offended during his time on earth.

A memorial will take place at Cannon Funeral Home (2020 Central Avenue, Colonie) on Sunday, December 8; visiting hours at 2pm, service at 3pm, with a reception at Kingsway Village to follow (5000 Queen Philomena Boulevard, Schenectady).
