Harold Widro

ALBANY – Harold Widro, 92, of Albany, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2018 at Daughters of Sarah Senior Community.

He was the youngest of six children to Samuel and Celia Widro. Harold was a member for many years of the Order of the Knights of Pythias, dedicated to universal peace. He was well loved by his family and friends. Harold enjoyed his profession as a sale representative in his own company and for many other companies over his long career. He enjoyed meeting and talking with people, music, the theater, dancing and telling jokes.

Harold is survived by his son Stuart Widro, daughter in law Joanne Widro and several nieces and nephews.

Because of the surpassing care and love given to Harold, the family would like contributions to be made in honor of Harold’s memory to either the Daughters of Sarah Jewish Foundation, 180 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12203 (daughtersofsarah.org) or to Jewish Family Services of Northeastern New York, 877 Madison Avenue, Albany, NY 12208 (jfsneny.org).
