Grace (Gay) A. Fairley

COLONIE -  Grace “Gay” A. Fairley, 74, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Gay was the daughter of the late Ozie and Frances Kirk Yowell. She was predeceased by her husband Paul and her son Paul Jr. She was a manager for Capital OTB in Albany for over thirty five years. Gay always had a smile for everyone and was ready to lend a hand at anytime. She enjoyed Saratoga Race Track and the casinos.

Gay is the beloved sister of Evelyn LeMorta Berg, Kathy (Jerry) Unser, Joyce (Volker) Jung and the late Milton Yowell, Shirley Cordi, Edwin, Richard, Robert and Ernest Yowell. She is the loving companion of Richard Bates. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
