George T. Latourette

Colonie – George T. LaTourette, 71, of Colonie passed away peacefully on Sunday December 10, 2023, surrounded by his family.

George was the son of the late William and Maragaret LaTourette and grew up in the Albany and Canaan area. He attended Chatham Central High School.

In 1975 he married the love of his life Dolores, and they spent 48 happy years together.

George worked maintenance at UltrePet on Fuller Road in Colonie. Coworkers might describe him as a bit of a jokester, he liked to kid around.

George loved to fix things, he was always tinkering with something or woodworking.

He leaves behind his loving wife Dolores, his children Dona (Dan) Herr, Dawn LaTourette, and his grandchildren Dylan LaTourette, Tyler Collins, Kaedan and Karlee Herr. George was predeceased by his brother Robert LaTourette.
