Gary J. Buechs, 66, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his home with his loving family at his side.

Born in Albany, NY he was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy (CBA).

Gary owned and operated a successful appliance repair business for over 20 years - Capital Land Appliance repair.

He will be remembered as one who loved helping people and watching his Yankees and Giants.

He is pre-deceased by his mother Thelma Delaney, father John Buechs, sister Lynn LaMay and his grandmother Katherine (Hauprich) Buechs as well as his beloved dog Wendall.

Survivors include his wife Linda Koniowka as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 10am to 12 Noon prior to a Celebration of Life Service at 12 Noon Wednesday, March 1 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, St. Jude, or the Community Hospice.
