Frank J. Prud'Homme

SACANDAGA LAKE – Frank J. Prud’homme, 69 of Sacandaga Lake, formerly of Jonesville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

He was born in Cohoes and was the son of the late Joseph and Loretta Prud’homme. Frank was a graduate of Shaker High School. He had worked for twenty years at UPS in Latham and drove school bus for the Shenendehowa School District. He enjoyed working on building projects and puttering around his property at the lake. One of his greatest joys was taking his grandsons camping.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Kathi Decker Prud’homme. He is the devoted father of Cheryl (Patrick) Cahill and Wendi (Jason) Dickerson. He is the brother of Susan (John) Albert. Frank is the cherished grandfather of Curtis Benedetto Jr, Holly (Mike) Clancy, Laci Cahill, Kevin Benedetto and Jaret Benedetto. He is the great grandfather of Conor Clancy. Frank is the former father in law of Curtis Benedetto Sr. He was predeceased by his beloved  in laws, Albert and Freda Decker.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Frank’s family on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Double H Ranch,  97 Hidden Valley Road, Lake Luzerne, NY  12846  in memory of Frank J. Prud’homme.
