Frank J. Lasch

LATHAM – Frank J. Lasch, 65, of Latham, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Frank J.  and Ruth B. Lasch Sr.

Frank was a bus driver for CDTA in Albany for twenty-five years. He later enjoyed driving for Wade Tours where he thought of every day as a vacation day. Frank was an avid fan of the New York Giants and New York Yankees.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Linda VanDenburgh Lasch. He is the devoted father of Matthew (Nicole) Lasch and Megan Lasch (Bryan Bruce). He is the cherished Poppy to Blake and Evelyn. Frank is the brother of William (Mair) Lasch, Kathy (Ted) Zabinski, Mickey (Sue) Lasch, Brian (Pat) Lasch and the late John Lasch (Joanne survives). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Frank’s family on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 am  at Cannon Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
