COLONIE – Frank W. Craig Jr., 97, of Colonie, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Frank W. Sr. and Lillian (Rogenmoser) Craig. Frank proudly served in the US Army during WWII and was a Bronze Star recipient. He enjoyed a longtime banking career, retiring from Pioneer Savings Bank. Frank was a sports enthusiast and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society. Frank had many enjoyable years with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Jean T. Craig. Frank is the devoted father of James (Tammy) Craig, Robert (Colleen) Craig and Paul (Mary) Craig. He is the cherished Papa to Patrick (Jessica) Craig, Melissa (Andrew) Mangini, Kristen, Nicole, Andrea, Kaitlyn Craig and the late Paul J.Craig, Jr. He is the great grandfather of June and Lila Craig, Max Mangini and Marlee Angelo. He is the brother of the late Edward Craig and Lillian Kuehn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning, January 18, 2021, at 10:00 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Our Light Food Pantry, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville, NY 12211.
