Evelyn M. Fazzone

SCHENECTADY – Evelyn M. Fazzone, 94, passed away on April 13 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness.

Born July 21, 1928, in Colonie, NY, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Anthony and Emmanula (Emma) Fazzone of Schenectady, NY.

She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School, Schenectady.  She was an office worker at General Electric Co for 41 years.

Evelyn was a member of their choral group for many years.  She enjoyed traveling in and out of the country with friends.  She was also a member of the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Schenectady, and a longtime member of their choir.

Her bright spirit and unwavering strength despite a serious back problem made her a very special person.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Evelyn is survived by her sister, Concetta (Connie) DeLisa of Bath, NY, and her brother Arthur A. Fazzone (Marion) of Schenectady and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Emma Koss.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Saturday, May 6 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30am prior to the service.
