E. Marie Wheeler

COLONIE – E. Marie Wheeler, 70, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at her residence in the arms of her beloved husband Kevin.

She was born in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Elaine Keeler LeBlanc. In earlier years, Marie worked for catholic churches in Cohoes. She was then employed with NYS Health Dept and more recently with the Department of Transportation as an Agency Program Aide. Marie enjoyed traveling and spending time at the ocean. She will be remembered as a kind, loyal and faithful friend.

Marie is the beloved wife of Kevin J. Wheeler. She is the devoted mother of David Riggs and the late Tammy Riggs. She is the sister of E. Diane (Tony) Schilling, Lorri Celebucki and Jeannie (Paul) Sheehan. Marie is the aunt of Colleen (Schilling) Agostinoni, Christine Sheehan and Daniel Sheehan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 10:00 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Schenectady. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie. Interment will be in Saratoga National VA Cemetery. In keeping with Marie’s wishes, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 385105.
