Ellen M. Dott

COLONIE  - Ellen M. Dott, 73, of Colonie, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Kaiser.

Ellen was the epitome of kindness. Being around her, you would immediately feel at ease. Her kindness was palpable. Her family was always her first priority and her animals were a close second. She will always be in our hearts and be our guiding angel.

She is the beloved mother of Kenneth Jr. (Katrina), Kevin, Kimberley, Kerry, Kristina Dott and Sandra (Gary) Guerro. Ellen is the cherished grandmother of Nicole (Ryan), Kenny, Konnor, Kody, Tori, Melissa (Steven), Joey, Kaelin, Timothy, David, Daniel, Alana, Aidan, Brody, Shelby (Eric) and Nick. She is the great grandmother of Quinn, Noah and Cooper. Ellen is the sister of Barbara (Jack) Malloy and the late David Kaiser (Janet survives). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ellen’s family on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be Thursday at 10:00 am at  Memory Gardens.
