Elizabeth "Betty" J. Ward

Altamont – Elizabeth J. “Betty” Ward passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born November 26, 1930 in Roosevelt, Long Island.

Betty worked for a number of years as a Telephone Operator for Bell Telephone. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, baking and crocheting. She was married to her late husband William on January 27, 1951 and was predeceased by him on November 29, 2020.

Betty is survived by her children, Susan Ahlgren of Newton, NJ., Kathy (Steve) Bridger of Delray Beach, Florida, William (Anastasia) Ward of Guilderland and Judy (Bob) Bailey of Knox; her grandchildren, Kiel Bridger of Florida, Leigh Ann Ward of Watervliet, Lauren Elizabeth Ward of Guilderland and Keegan Bailey of Knox.

The family would like to thank the health care providers and personal care aides who compassionately cared for Mom over the years.
