Colonie - Elizabeth “Liz” T. Haskey-Graver, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 17, 2023 at St. Peter’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In her last days she was surrounded by her friends and family who adored her.
Born in Albany, she was the daughter of Thomas and Therese Hobbs. She was a 1957 graduate of St. Joseph Academy.
She was employed at St. Peter’s Hospital for many years, retiring due to her illness.
Liz enjoyed reading, camping, being outdoors, traveling, bingo, and was an avid sun worshipper. She also loved Munchkins and the New York Mets.
She was a communicant of St. Clare’s Church in Colonie.
She is pre-deceased by her husbands William C. Graver, III and George Haskey, and her brother Thomas (Linda) Hobbs.
Liz is survived by her children Lisa (Jim) Grosso of Colonie, NY, and Rick (Jesselee) Krolak of Bismark, ND, her grandchildren Ryan (Ashley) Cady, Jeremy (Rena) Krolak, Maribeth (David) Myers, Daniel (Uzziel) Krolak, Nicholas (Nicole) Cady, and Blair (Raven) Krolak and her 10 great grandchildren who she cherished. She is also survived by her siblings Sr Rose Hobbs, RSM, Kathryn (David) Ladue, Charles (Nancy) Hobbs, Michael Hobbs and Anne (David) Wigley as well as many nieces, nephews grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 6:30 with a service to follow at 6:30pm Tuesday, February 21 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie. Burial will be at Most Holy Redeemer in Niskayuna.
