Eleanor R. Robbins

COLONIE – Eleanor Rose Robbins, 78, of Colonie, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Martin Sr. Eleanor had worked as an administrative assistant with the South Colonie School District for twenty years. She was a lifetime member of the Village of Colonie Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Thunder Rd. Seniors. Eleanor was a kind and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her selfless and understanding demeanor.

Eleanor is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Philip R. Robbins Sr. She is the loving mother of Lynn M. Robbins and Philip (Lisa) Robbins Jr. She is the cherished Nana to Demitria (William) Rios, Devin P. (Hannah) Robbins, Lexi Garrison and Alyssa Garrison. Great grandmother of Rorie Eleanor Rios, Ava R.  and Aaliyah Robbins. She is the dear sister of Michael (Cyndi) Martin, Paul T. Martin and the late Joseph J. Martin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 9:00 am at St. Clare’s Church, 1947 Central Ave. Colonie. Face masks are required and social distancing must be observed. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
