Dorothy M. LaMountain, 83, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022.

She grew up in Albany and was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School.

Dorothy was employed with the Office of General Services (OGS) at the New York State Capitol for several years and then at Albany Medical Center.

She enjoyed playing cards and dice, playing pool, gatherings with friends and cooking hearty meals for family. She was an avid Elvis fan.

Besides her parents, a brother John Wolfinger pre-deceased her.

Survivors include her daughter Sabrina ( Robert) Mahoney; a granddaughter Lindsey (David) Malizia; a great-grandson Landen Malizia; two nieces Joanne (Robert) Cahalan and Jacqueline (Mark) Wolfinger.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, June 2 at the family plot at Graceland Cemetery, Delaware Ave, Albany.

Arrangements are by Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Albany, NY.
