Dorothy A. Bell

ALBANY – Dorothy A. Bell, 77, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Inn of Community Hospice.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late James and Rose Frangella Tompkins. Dorothy was a Dietician at the former Eden Park Nursing Home in Albany for twenty-six years. She Cherished her feline companion Freddie. Dorothy enjoyed many years of friendship with the residents and staff at Westview Apartments.

Dorothy is the beloved sister of Marion Edwards and the late Diane Branion and James Tompkins. She is the Mother of Harold Felt (Denise) and Grandmother of Jackson Felt. Several Devoted Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 08, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany NY 12208 in memory of Dorothy A. Bell.
