Donna M. Sharer

COLONIE - Donna M. Sharer, 73, of Colonie, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Rodney and Doris Carpentier.

Donna was a 1968 graduate of Albany High School.  She was a secretary with the New York State Division of Parole for thirty years. She was an avid bowler.

Donna is the beloved wife of 55 years to Patrick M. Sharer. She is the mother of Robert (Kimberly) Sharer, Christopher Sharer, Jonathan Sharer and Suzanne Sharer. She is the sister of Denise (Dan) Bernacki, Darlene Mack and the late Rodney (Cathy) Carpentier. She is the grandmother of Joseph and Serenity.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 02, 2024 at 12 noon at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Donna’s family on Tuesday from 10 am to 12 noon at the funeral home.
