Donna Jean Johnston

WATERFORD – Donna Jean Johnston, 72, of Waterford, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2017, supported by her loving family.
Born in Troy, she is the daughter of the late Paul Danaher and E. Frances Brownell Danaher. Donna was a graduate of Albany Business College and had worked for Gardenway Manufacturing in Troy for several years. She enjoyed camping, visiting the beach and her flower gardens. Donna was dedicated to her cherished family and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Roger W. Johnston. Donna is the beloved mother of Rosella (Timothy) Elliott, Michael Johnston and Roger Johnston Jr. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer service in celebration of Donna’s life will be offered at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Donna J. Johnston.
