Donald C. Lee

COLONIE – Donald C. Lee, 68, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Honolulu, HI and was the son of the late James K. and Frances Morris Lee. Along with his new bride, Don graduated from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire. He worked for thirty years at Lorillard Company in Colonie. Don was a talented craftsman who always made time to help his friends and family. His devotion to his cherished wife and family was immense and it brought him boundless joy.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Maureen Callahan Lee. He is the devoted father of Tyler Lee, Erin (Bill) Ellis and Heather (Rafael) Jimenez. He is Grandpa to Billy, Morgan, Nolan, Raeghan, Katie, Ella and Miles. Don was the brother of the late Terry Lee.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 11:00 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10 to 11 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Regional Food Bank, 965 Albany Shaker Rd., Latham, NY 12110 in memory of Donald C.
