Donald J. Alund

SCHENECTADY – Donald J. “DJ” Alund, 61, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Ellis Hospital with his wife at his side.

He was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late William and Bertha Alund. DJ was an auditor with Public Consulting Group in Albany. He enjoyed music, his pets, camping and bonfires. DJ was a big fan of George Carlin and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

He is survived by his beloved wife Patti Alund. DJ is the brother of the late Ronald Alund. He is the uncle of Patrick Alund.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with DJ’s family for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 4 to 6 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to Hudson Mohawk Humane Society or Operation Snips in memory of DJ Alund.
