Diane C. Vincent

Loudonville-Diane C. Vincent, 85, passed away peacefully on April 10th at Albany Medical Center Hospital with her family by her side. Diane was born on April 16th, 1937. She was one of two children born to the late Walter G. and Marion (Ziegler) King in Schenectady, NY. She had worked for both Key Corp. and the Town of Colonie Assessors Office until she retired in 2013. Diane was also an active member of the West Albany Fire Department #1 Women’s Auxiliary since 1984. Diane enjoyed her reading, cooking, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and most of all traveling to Myrtle Beach, SC every fall with late husband, Berley, to visit friends and having Sunday Mass on the beach enjoying her cold beers. She also loved her dogs, Ginger Girl and Noodles, who were always by her side at home. Diane is survived by her niece and nephews, and her brother, Walter J. King. She leaves behind her children, William (Amy Laird) Vincent, of Latham, James (Donna) Vincent, of Colonie, and Michael (Kelly Mikullitz) Vincent of Halfmoon, and Daughter-in-law Kathleen Vincent of Colonie and Daughter-in-law Kelly Monroe-Vincent of Mechanicville. She was Grandmother “Gammy” to Marla, Michelle, Christopher, Megan, Caitlin, Kerrie and Abbey. Great-grandmother to Hunter, Trent, Olive, Jaxen, Alexa, Scarlet, Prudence, Soren, Theo and Judit. The family wishes to thank St. Peter’s and the Albany Medical Center ICU staff, Colonie PD and EMS teams for their wonderful care throughout this difficult time, we are forever grateful for all of your support. Private memorial services will be held Monday April 17, 2023 at Cannon Funeral Home. Interment services at Memory Gardens in Colonie will follow for the immediate family only.
