Dennis V. Gilmore

Albany – Dennis V. Gilmore passed away on May, 14, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by his beloved family.

He is survived by his wife Katie (O'Connor), his children Dennis Jr. (Lynn), Bernice, and Joshua. His sisters Maryanne Arehart, Linda Gilmore, and Pam Gilmore York.

In his early career, Dennis worked for Bethlehem Steel, and eventually owned his own business, DVG Pilot and Safety Services. He was a Foster Father for many years. Dennis also enjoyed flying, gardening, camping, antique cars, hunting, listening to Oldies music and spending time with his family.

Those who knew him know what a warm, gentle, loving man he was. He will be missed beyond measure.
