Denise had many aunts, uncles, cousins, second and third cousins.

Denise had a long term boyfriend, Kurt W Nourse for forty years. Kurt will miss Denise dearly.

In addition, Denise had an extended family from the home where she resided. Many of the care providers loved Denise as if she was their own family member. That love and care was greatly appreciated and will be remembered forever.

Denise was disabled, but was tenacious and determined to live life to the fullest and to love deeply. She enjoyed family time, pop music and adventures. For example, shopping at the mall at Christmas time, time at home with her sister Liz, family gatherings and events with those from the home where she lived.

Denise was blessed with many different trips. She went to Florida on an airplane and to Disney World. After her trip she got a tattoo of Mickey Mouse and then one of a rose and a butterfly. She enjoyed concerts and some of those were the Goo Goo dolls (she met back stage), Doobie Brothers.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Donations in honor of Denise can be made to your local animal Shelter for her love of animals, especially cats.
