Milton – Debra J. Putnam, 65, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at her home with her loving family by her side.

Debra was born July,1 1958 in Schenectady, she was a 1976 graduate of Linton High School.  She married her high school sweetheart, Rick Putnam in April 1985 (39 years).

They raised their family in Galway, NY. Debra last worked at Ballston Spa Central Schools as a cafeteria lady in which she loved. She held other various jobs such as NY State Corporations, and the Saratoga County Support Collection Unit.

Debra really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog Sonny. She was an amazing cook and put all her love in everything she did. She always had a smile on and was always full of great advice.

She also was a member of the Galway Players and Galway Youth Theatre and in later years enjoyed learning about gardening.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Rick A. Putnam, as well as her two daughters Ashley Putnam (Danny Rubin) and Amber Putnam, both of Burnt hills, her five grandchildren Camden Pixley, Aliyah Pixley, Jacob Rubin, Alyssa Cherico and Frank Cherico, her sister Sharon Hall (Tim) of Schuylerville, two nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her mother, Jean Murray, her father Carl Robinson, and her brother Allan Robinson.

Services will be private. Arrangements are being made by Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie.
