Clare "Ernie" Weeks

Clifton Park- Clare Ernest “Ernie” Weeks, 87. died on Saturday October,16, 2021 due to complications from COVID.

Ernie was the son of the late Ernest C. Weeks and Vera Conrad. He was born in Athens, NY and raised in Schenectady, NY. After working 39 years for Niagara Mohawk, he and his wife Eleanor moved to North Myrtle Beach where he enjoyed golfing, painting, golfing, gardening, golfing, the warm sunny weather and yes, more golfing. He and his wife recently moved back to New York to be closer to family.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Eleanor Romano Weeks, his three children, Ernest (Carol) Weeks, Dawn (David) Judkins and Patricia (James) Cashel, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, his sister Candance Young and brother Robert Hummel. He was predeceased by his brothers Richard and William Hummel.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Ellis Hospital ICU for their compassionate and caring treatment of Ernie.
