WASHINGTON DC – Christine M. DeProperty, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 after a brief illness.

She was born in Troy, NY and was the daughter of the late Anthony DeProperty and Barbara Rock. Christine was a graduate of Stony Brook University on Long Island. She worked for many years as a Project Manager with defense contractors in Washington DC. Chris was a longtime volunteer with WPFW radio station and hosted a weekly show, Don’t Forget the Blues”. She enjoyed traveling, food, dear friends and animals. Chris was a voracious reader.

Chris the cherished sister of Suzanne Dickson. She is the aunt of Scott Madigan, Trevor (Rachel) Dickson, Alexander (Katie) Dickson. She will be missed by her feline companion, Maggie.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Christine’s family on Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 1:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Waterford Rural Cemetery.
