COLONIE – Charles W. Woodard Jr., 88, of Colonie, passed away on Wednesday, June 05, 2024 at Ellis Hospital. He was born in St. Albans, Vermont and was the son of the late Charles W. Woodard Sr. and Hazel Patterson Woodard.

Chuck served in the US Air Force from 1953 though 1957 during the Korean War. He was a truck driver for over thirty years with Reliable Brands in Albany.  He also worked part time at Lisha Kill Middle School. Chuck enjoyed camping and fishing.

He is the beloved husband of Deborah Woodard. Chuck is the father of Charles (Jody) Woodard III, Ryan (Tracy) Woodard, Lance (Irma) Woodard, Susan (Frank) Kindlon, Laurie Sforza. Robert Scelzi and the late Barbara Scelzi. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Chuck’s family on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Spirit Lutheran Cemetery, Glenmont.
