Carmen A. Depasquale

Colonie – Carmen A. DePasquale, 90, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

He was born in Rodi, Sicily, Italy and was the son of the late Giuseppe and Catena DePasquale. Carmen came to the US as a young child and was educated in Schenectady schools. He was a draftsman and machinist at the General Electric Company in Schenectady for thirty-two years. He enjoyed hunting, square-dancing traveling, and going to casinos. Carmen was a member of the Colonie Elks.

He is the beloved husband of Martha DePasquale. Carmen is the father of Daniel (Francoise) DePasquale, Kathleen Sherling (late Randolph), Joseph (Cathy) DePasquale and the late Carmen “Chip” DePasquale. He is the brother of Santa (Ernest) DiCesare, the late Domenica “Minnie” Longo and Dominick “Donny” DePasquale. Carmen is the grandfather of Jennifer Kambhampati and Jessica DePasquale. He is also survived by his aunt, Domenica DePasquale and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 12 noon at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Carmen’s family prior to the service, from 10:30am to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Schenectady.
