Brigette Martin Miller

March 29, 1988 — December 27, 2024

Niskayuna - It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brigette Martin Miller, age 36, on December 27, 2024. Brigette was the beloved wife of Richard Miller, and the devoted mother of Penelope and Lincoln. The daughter to Lori and William, sister to Brendon (Katie) and Lauren (Mark) and the aunt to her niece Lorelei and nephews Liam and Tadhg.

She was the life of every gathering, with a laugh and smile that could light up a room, and a quick wit that brought joy to all who knew her. A lover of ranch there was nothing safe from being dipped in the dressing. A gorgeous charcuterie board, a well poured glass of wine and anything made out of Half Baked Harvest cookbook were some of her favorite things.  Her children, niece and nephews delighted in her homemade cinnamon buns.

Brigette had an infectious enthusiasm for life. Brigette was the best-dressed person in any room, proudly showcasing her fabulous handbags. Fun was the essence of her personality, radiating in her ability to make every moment special. Her love of celebrating life was unparalleled, and she found joy in any occasion to gather with her family and friends. She loved to travel with Rich and enjoyed her time spent in Rosemary Beach, Charleston, Saratoga, Kennebunkport, Watch Hill, Greece, Ireland, Italy and New York City especially when it meant staying at the Plaza.

An expert in all things Disney, Brigette was known for her meticulous planning of family vacations, carefully crafting the best Disney experiences. Underneath her love for detailed planning was a desire to create memories that would last a lifetime. For months before a trip, she would jot things down in her infamous Disney notebook.  She poured love and energy into every detail, making each trip unforgettable for her family.

Brigette cherished the time spent in her beautifully decorated home, where she loved to cook and bake, creating not only delicious meals but a warm and inviting environment for her family. Cooking and baking brought Brigette immense joy, as she loved sharing her creations with her loved ones. Her pride in her home was a testament to her care and love for her family.

Brigette never met a challenge to throw a party that she didn’t accept.  Nothing made her happier than planning the best theme parties for Penelope and Lincoln birthdays. Complete with fun activities for all party goers to enjoy. Keeping her family and friends at the center of her world, Brigette created a life filled with love, joy and laughter.

Brigette’s first love, however, was her beloved dog, JD, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout the years. JD was such a good boy and it brings her family much comfort knowing the two are reunited again.

Brigette was deeply grateful for her time with Rich and the adventures they went on and the beautiful family they built together.  The care and support Rich offered throughout the last year was a source of great comfort to Brigette.

Brigette’s greatest joy in life was being a devoted and loving mother to her children Penelope and Lincoln. She cherished each moment with them from planning their perfect outfits to ensuring every holiday was celebrated with love and creativity. Brigette shared a special mother-daughter bond with her “mini-me” Penelope, often enjoying nail appointments and dressing in similar style that reflected Brigette’s impeccable taste.

Brigette’s presence will be deeply missed by her husband, children, family, and friends. Her infectious spirit, humor, and sense of adventure touched the hearts of all who knew her. Brigette's legacy of love, laughter, and party planning will live on in the cherished memories she created with everyone lucky enough to have known her.

Heaven has now gained the most stylish angel.
