Beverly R. Raiti

Albany - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Beverly R. Raiti, on October 31, 2024, at the age of 82 surrounded by her family.

Born on February 7, 1942 in Hudson, NY, Beverly graduated from the Vincentian Institute in 1959. She and the love of her life, Joseph P Raiti Sr, married on August 1st of that year. Beverly spent her early marriage growing and nurturing her family. Later she worked as an office assistant for Dr Bernard McEvoy. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to family first. Beverly was known for her exceptional cooking and great wit. She brought family and friends together around the dinner table often. Her generosity extended beyond her kitchen; she had a profound love for animals and enjoyed boating with family and friends. Her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, a reflection of her true spirit.

Beverly is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Paone, her son, Joseph P. Raiti Jr, her beloved grandchildren: Nicole Peek, Zachary Peek, Joseph R. Raiti, Ella Raiti, and Mia Raiti, and great-grandchildren: Brayden Ming, Cayleb Ming, and Ezekiel Ming. Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P Raiti Sr, her daughter, Kimberly Raiti Teetsel, and her parents Rose and Peter Deprima.

Calling hours to be held at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie on Tuesday November 5th from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 am, with burial to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. We invite all who knew and loved Beverly to join us in honoring her memory.
