Bernard J. Gallagher Jr.

Colonie - Bernard J. “Jr.” Gallagher, 62, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Pathways Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born on June 24, 1958 in Niskayuna, he was the son of Bernard J. and Ruth E. (Cole) Gallagher, Sr.

Jr. grew up in Clarksville and was a graduate of Bethlehem High School.

He was employed in the maintenance department at Beverwyck in Slingerlands for many years.

He was an avid NY Yankees and Giants Fan as well as Led Zeppelin.  He enjoyed the company of his pets Phatty and Lucky.

He is pre-deceased by his father Bernard and a sister Tina Starr.

He leaves behind his mother Ruth Gallagher, sisters: Nancy (Drew) Gallagher-Preston and Theresa Gallagher and a brother David (Michele Patentreger) Gallagher as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, March 18, at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave,  Colonie. A brief service will follow at 7:00pm.
