Bernadette E. Deforge

Colonie – Bernadette E. DeForge, 76, of Colonie, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Inn of Community Hospice.

She is the beloved wife of fifty two years to John D. DeForge. Bernadette is the sister of Pasquale Pagano. She is the cherished family friend of Bill and Kelly O’Toole.

Bernadette was a manager at Flah’s women’s apparel and worked as an executive secretary for Gourmet Foods, Key Bank, Sefcu and Albany College of Pharmacy. She also helped her husband at the family run DeForge Farm & Greenhouse. Bernadette enjoyed traveling, having visited Italy multiple times. She will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bernadette’s family on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Club, 1 Penny Lane, Latham NY 12110.
