Barbara W. Mulleda

COLONIE, NY – Barbara Washburn Mulleda, passed away at home on September 19, 2022 at the age of 88. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Barbara was born in Burlington, VT, raised in Colchester and moved to Albany, NY to attend Albany Business College in the 1950’s. She lived and worked in the Albany area until she was 82 years old. Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed spending her time taking care of her lawn and gardens, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing word games, going to the beach, volunteering at her church and spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard Mulleda Sr., her parents Marcus and Dorothy Washburn and her brother Richard Washburn. Barbara is survived by her sons Bernard Mulleda Jr. of Albany, Daniel Mulleda of Tucson, AZ.; her daughter Dorothy Zimmer and granddaughter Elisa Zimmer of Albany; sister-in-law Shirley Washburn of Myrtle Beach as well as her yearly “beach family” of Gloucester, MA.
