Barbara M. Lasanta

Albany – Barbara M. LaSanta, 69, formerly of Albany, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

She was born in Catskill and was the daughter of the late Robert and Lillian Quinn. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Luis, her son Luis LaSanta Jr. and her brother Robert Quinn Jr. She was a dedicated caregiver, working as a Nursing Aide for thirty-seven years tending to the ill and elderly. Barbara loved music, word puzzles, watching crime shows and crocheting.

She is the beloved mother of Jose (Anjelieeque) Martinez, Juanita (Kevin) Martinez and Pablito LaSanta. She is sister of Holly (Ted) Slocum, Debbie Quinn and Vincent (Lisa) Quinn. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Barbara’s family on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie.
