Barbara J. Bossalini

Colonie - Barbara Jane Bossalini, 95, passed peacefully in her home on Sunday, June 15, 2024. Born in Gloversville, NY on August 11, 1928, to Harold W. Arthur and Mildred Arthur (nee Carpenter).

Barbara was the loving wife of the late Dominick Bossalini, and devoted mother to Gail Bossalini, Peter Bossalini and his wife Marilyn, and John Bossalini and his wife Tracy. She was adored by her five grandchildren, Christine, Samantha, Johnny, Dominick and Luke, her grand dog Lizzy, and is survived by her siblings Carol Sanchez, Arlene Hotaling, Deborah Jantos, and Timothy Arthur. Barb was also dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews, her late Uncle Donald Arthur, her close friend Jean, and her dear coworkers.

Barbara worked for Gibson Greeting Cards for over 50 years. She was a phenomenal artist, and enjoyed camping in Cape Ann, Massachusetts and also leading girl scouts. Her family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the medical teams at the Eddy and Community Hospice for their kind and attentive care.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 4 pm to 7pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie, followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday at 10 am. Entombment will be at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
