Schenectady – Arlene Areada Rossiter Richtmeyer, 104, of Schenectady, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 15, 2021.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 9, 1917 to the late Frederick W. Rossiter and Delphine Nailor. Arlene was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Frederick F. (Emily) Rossiter and Geraldine (William) Allen.

She was married to George P. Richtmeyer for 45 years before he passed away in 1981. Arlene was the mother of the late John F. Richtmeyer and Ronald T. Richtmeyer. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, a special niece and nephew Joe and Dawn Armstrong and great niece Emily Armstrong as well as many other family and friends.

The family of Arlene would like to thank Ellis Rehab and Residential Center, Edison Unit for the special care she received.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 12 noon at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon at the funeral home.
