Antoinette M. "Tonie" Elser

Schenectady - Antoinette M. “Tonie” Elser, 88, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Ellis Hospital.

Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of Louis and Beatrice Caputo.

Toni grew up in Schenectady and was a graduate of Schenectady High School.

She retired from the General Electric Company where she worked as a payroll clerk for more than 25 years.

For the past 20 years, she was employed as an office manager for the Welt, Gabriels and Schunk Law Firm.

She was an avid golfer and also enjoyed bowling.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband Winthrop Elser, grandson Elijah Caputo; brother Anthony Caputo, Sisters Catherine Walliman and Dorothy Barbarulo, and a niece Kathy Walliman.

She leaves her son Jorge (Diana) Caputo, granddaughter Crystal Lani; brother Louis Caputo; nephews David Walliman and Ronald Caputo and a niece Rosemary (Caputo) Yetter and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10am Monday, June 6 at the family plot at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
