Ann B. Tidd

Saratoga Springs - Ann Beverly Tidd, 93, of Saratoga, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Saratoga Hospital. She was born in Amsterdam and was the daughter of the late John and Anna Hogan.

Ann grew up In Albany and raised seven children. She had worked as a sales associate with the former Snyder’s Leather for several years. Along with her late husband Leonard, they traveled to all fifty states (many times on motorcycle) and enjoyed many summers at the Great Sacandaga Lake and Cape Cod. Ann was an environmental advocate for the Village of Colonie. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, bingo and painting.

Ann was predeceased by her husband Leonard W. Tidd and her son James Kevin Tidd. She is the devoted mother of Richard (Lorraine) Tidd, Leeann (Jack) Ross, Linda (Skip) Dickstein, Jeffrey (Kathy) Tidd, Dawn Foley (Phil LeClair) and Eric Tidd. She is the grandmother of Aimee, Catherine, Benjamin, Ian, Heather, Erika, Thomas and Dillon. Great grandmother of Elizabeth, Jack, Mia, Grace, Mia, Colin and Robert. Great great grandmother of Leo. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ann’s family on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Assoc.
