Ann C. Haas

COLONIE – Ann C. Haas, 97, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Monday evening at Shaker Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Allesandro and Lucia Ranellucci, formerly of Rensselaer.

Ann was predeceased by her husband John H. Haas Jr. She was a supervisor with the Picotte Companies for thirty seven years. Ann has also worked as an aide at Shaker El School. She was a charter member of VFW Post 8692 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to cook and spend time with her cherished family.

She is the beloved mother of John H. Haas III, James J. (Kathy) Haas and Anne “Rea” Haas (Scott) Crowder. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ann’s family on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. All attendees will be required to wear a mask. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday morning at 9:00 am at St. Clare’s Church, 1947 Central Ave. Colonie. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
