Andrew W. Liuzzi

April 29, 1961 — November 24, 2023

COLONIE – Andrew W. Liuzzi, 62, crossed over to the other side to join his loved ones that have passed before him. He entered into eternal life on November 24, 2023.

Born the youngest son of the late Francis J. and Ruth Elliott Liuzzi. Andrew was a lifelong resident of Colonie.

Andrew loved reading, writing and motorcycling. His Harley Davidson was his life! He enjoyed being surrounded by his friends and biker family having fun. Andrew had a knack for making people laugh. His quick wit and dry humor will be remembered always. Andrew worked for Hamilton News Co. in Glenmont. He ran his own remodeling business, Talon Enterprises, and most recently worked for South Colonie School District, prior to retirement seven years ago.

Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Stacy L. Liuzzi, fur babies Tiger, Max and Mayla. Also survived by his siblings, Margaret Liuzzi of Syracuse, Francis J. Liuzzi Jr., of Fla., Rocco A. Liuzzi of Nedrow, NY and Dianne (Ron) Hagan of North Carolina. Andrew is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Andrew also leaves behind his wonderful family in the BMC. Andrew loved leading rides through the mountains of New York and assures his motorcycle “Family” that he’ll be riding on the other side! Andrew was the State President of ABATE of NY Inc. and Albany Chapter President for multiple years. Andrew was always willing to speak to and help new and seasoned riders. He was also a huge advocate for Creto’s Law and the rights of others killed by distracted drivers. He was a supporter of our Veterans and motorcycle community. Andrew was also a speaker at the Albany County STOP DWI impact panels.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Andrew’s family on Sunday, December 03, 2023 from 12 to 3 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie.
