Andrew F. Fisher Jr.

COLONIE – Andrew F. Fisher Jr., 85, of Colonie, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Andrew F. and Helen VanAlstyne Fisher.

Andy was predeceased in 2015 by his beloved wife, Lorraine L. Fisher. He worked for many years with Tougher Industries in Menands, belonging to Sheet Metal Works Local 83 for over 60 years. Andy loved camping, riding snowmobiles, going fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sons, Andrew (Sue) Fisher III, Wayne (Mary) Fisher and Keith (Maryann) Fisher. He is the cherished grandfather of Jon, Wayne (Mindy) Jr., Sherry, Lori and Vincent; great grandfather of Gabriella, Landon, and Jackson. He is the brother of the late Gary Fisher and Adele Face.   He will be dearly missed by his devoted and cherished canine companion, Tobby.

Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:30 at Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave. Albany. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204, in memory of Andrew F.
