Alvin R. Raynor

Schenectady – Alvin R. Raynor, 71, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.He grew up in Merrick on Long Island in New York. There he attended Nassau Community College earning his Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. He was a bagel baker at Bagel City while living on Long Island where he made all kinds of yummy bagels.

Alvin moved to the Schenectady area in 1993 and worked for himself as a landscaper. He loved gardening and outside work. He also had a passion for classic rock music, specifically the Grateful Dead band and the Allman Brothers band.

He is predeceased by his parents Alvin and Dorothy (Weibezahl) Raynor. Alvin is survived by his loving sister Jacqueline Albanese, niece Jill Connell, and nephew Jeffrey Albanese.
