Alice A. Fisher

North Greenbush – Alice A. Fisher, 61, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2018. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Jane Doughney. Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband of 32 years, Robert (Bob) Fisher.

She was a brilliant teacher at the Carol A. Dunigan Day Care Center. Alice enjoyed all genres of music and had an extensive collection of vinyl throughout the years. She was a self - proclaimed beach babe and Cape Cod was her escape. A devout woman of faith, Alice worshipped with her family at the New Birth Christian Fellowship Center. She was “mother” to many young people in her community and always ready to lend advice and guidance.

Alice is survived by her cherished children Katie, Holly, Natalie, Carly, Robert and Sonia. The pride of her life were her grandchildren, Cheyenne, Savannah, Morgan, Izabella, Myah, Jaxon, Autumn and Kayden.  She was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Brook. Alice is the sister of Edward (Michelle) Doughney. She will be dearly missed by her 3 grand kitties.

Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Berne.
